I am kind of in the same boat with identifying locally. I think many people wish they were global citizens (myself included), but realistically identify more locally. I liked how you explained that one can make a global impact by a local action. In my opinion though, if one acts locally with the entire world in mind, they are acting as a local citizen in some way. I think it's really challenging to determine if one is simply a global or local citizen. For example, we have global problems like u explained (Covid-19 for example) that affect people with very strong local identities or with a lot of pride for where they came from (like me).
